National Blood Donor Month
For more than 40 years, the U.S. has recognized January as National Blood Donor Month. Blood is traditionally in short supply during the winter months due to holiday travel schedules, inclement weather and illness. January in particular is a difficult month for blood donations because donors are caught up in the holiday hustle and bustle and can’t make time to give blood. Yet the need for blood stays the same.
Join the celebration and make blood donation one of your New Year’s resolutions. Schedule your next lifesaving appointment today!
